Jacques Perconte traballa en torno âs ideas de forma e sustancia no contexto dixital, ao tempo que se posiciona nun cuestionamento tanto do medio como do mundo sen buscar a estridència, senón que opta por unha estètica bela e harmònica. A súa tècnica consiste en xerar erros no arquivo dixital (conecida como glitch art) que pixelizan as imaxes ou trocan as cores. Grazas a isto lonxe de tender ao desacougo con montaxes vertixinosas e pianos délirantes, busca un tempo pausado e a beleza plàstica da imaxe, con traballos que tenden ao impresionismo, ao fauvismo ou à abstracción pictóricos.

Esta exposición està composta de tres novas pezas que foron realizadas especificamente para a Sala Municipal de Exposicions Palexco da Coruna, no marco do (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico. 0 artista desenvolveu un software que Ile posibilita a creación de vídeos xenerativos cuxa duración é infinda. A partir do último, gravou estes tres que podemos contemplar por primeira vez nesta exposición. Nela, o espectador encóntrase ante un bosque en constante transformación por un transitar de luz e cor que o rodea e o inunda nunha atmosfera visual. En palabras de Perconte: "A natureza xa non esté ai. Persiste e està representada, pero xa non està aí''

Impression of time compensation

Jacques Perconte works on the ideas of form and substance in the digital context, while at the same time he questions about the medium and the world without seeking the stridency, but he opts for a beautiful and harmonious aesthetics. His technique is to generate errors in the digital file (known as glitch art) that pixelate or change the colors ofthe works. Thanks to this, far from aiming at uneasiness with dizzy film editions and crazy film shots, he looks for some leisure time and the plastic beauty of the image with works that aim at Impressionism, Fauvism or the painterly abstraction.

This exhibition consists of three new pieces made specifically for the showroom of Palexco City Hall Exhibition of A Coruna, on the occasion of (S8) Mostra de CinemaPeriférico.The artist developed a software that enables the creation of generative videos whose duration is infinite. From the latter, he filmed these three ones that we can see for the first time in this exhibition. Here the viewer is confronted with a forest constantly being changed through light and color surrounding and flooding it in a visual atmosphere. According to Perconte: "Nature is no longer there. It persists and is represented, but is no longer there."
